PEEK or polyetheretherketone resin offers engineers a high-performance, extremely durable thermoplastic that suits challenging applications in multiple industries. PEEK is chemically resistant at high temperatures, superior compared to most other chemically resistant plastics. In addition, its mechanical properties and flexural modulus ranks above most other plastic resins. PEEK’s properties provide resistance to abrasive and fatigue wear, while also providing high strength and excellent resistance to high temperatures.

PEEK maintains its strength and durability, even under exposure to water and/or pressurized steam. Glass and carbon fillers help create variants of PEEK which increase its strength and thermal stability.
